PASCH scholarship

Our school community is delighted to celebrate Roberta Calabrese (11.2), who received the PASCH scholarship after achieving great results in her German Mock Exam. Last August, Roberta spent three weeks in Goslar, Germany. She attended daily German lessons and engaged in activities like football, volleyball, swimming and crafts, even enjoying early morning jogs.

Weekends were packed with excursions to Braunschweig, Wolfsburg, Göttingen University and Rammelsberg Mines. A highlight was watching a meteor shower - a magical moment shared with friends. Roberta also had the opportunity to showcase her musical talent by playing the piano at the farewell concert.

The three weeks of intensive German lessons helped Roberta improve her language skills, and she went on to pass her final exam with flying colours. She was presented with a certificate from the Goethe-Institut in recognition of her achievement. Roberta recommends the PASCH scholarship to other students of German, describing it as an enriching experience both academically and culturally, as well as a wonderful opportunity to forge new friendships.

Roberta plans to continue studying German at post-secondary level, and we wish her every success in her future learning journey. Well done, Roberta! We are very proud of you!
